Dedicated to the memory of a true gentle - man

This site is a tribute to my Dad, Ken Way, who was born in Stokenchurch on March 21, 1934.

He was the most kind hearted big softie and anyone who ever met him couldn't help but love him.

Dad will be missed by many, but never forgotten.

Thoughts

Ken, even as I sit down to write this, I honestly don't fully believe that I am. There are certain people in life that through their personality, actions, relationship with others and their sheer bravery and courage, you fully believe to outlive everyone and you are one of those people. From the day I first turned up at your doorstep and became best friends with Lynda, you and JT welcomed me into your family in a way no one else ever had before, I really was just one of the extended family. Later in life I was never around physically but you and JT were well aware of my habit of disappearing for long periods of time but still be floating around somewhere, lol. My thoughts were always there and I would always send my love and ask how you were doing. Your relationship with Lynda was just beautiful to behold; two peas in a pod, happy to just sit around and natter and you were always there for her and always will be, I fully believe that. You can't break a bond just by physical distance, it doesn't work like that, your spirit remains in her heart and by her side. I will never forget the sound of clattering and pottering coming from the shed when I was arriving or departing from the house. It's weird to say goodbye to such a strong spirit, so I'll just say catch you later and I know you're happy up there with JT and the furries, almost certainly pottering around fixing whatever you can find. All my love, Michael.
